Corporate and Public Services
The services provided by NLP Coaching for Change are innovative, exciting and ensure that delegates are provided with training that meets their specific needs. We have all experienced taking part in “feel good” training where you leave feeling highly motivated to change…. But… you have not been given the how… the tools and skills were absent from the training.
My only aim when providing trainings is that your needs as the client are met. The first and most important way to ensure that will happen is for us to meet and together elicit the specific outcomes your business needs to achieve.
It is important to remember that your company’s success will mainly depend on the quality of your staff. In the past your staff’s specific skill base... how well qualified they are at their “job” was thought to be what would determine success. We now know that those skills alone are not enough. How intelligently you and your team manage your emotional state is as important in achieving your success. Until recently, we behaved as if linking emotions to business was prohibited. We now know that it is impossible not to.
Businesses that are recognising the need to attend to the emotional intelligence of their staff are experiencing increases in all their measures of success. Emotional intelligence skills such as vision, building relationships and developing people are more important to leadership success than typical leadership traits, such as external/market orientation, financial acumen and planning, according to a study involving 265 corporate executives, directors, managers, business owners, and consultants into 20 core leadership attributes (Stanford business School).
Recent research has found that Stress is one of the most important reasons behind sickness from work and stress-related absence is increasing with three quarters of executives say that stress adversely affects their health, happiness and home life as well as their performance at work (CIPD 2006). The remedy for this is in giving people the skills and tools to be able to manage themselves more resourcefully. The aim is for each person to learn to respond differently to what they call stress; so when they experience stress they have learnt how to be solution focused and have a different attitude. I believe that the only way to make trainings worth the money they cost you is make sure that each person attending actually learns how to achieve the change required.
The Trainings I provide have the following core components:
1. Written to provide for your specific remit.
2. Small groups so that all delegates needs are provided for.
3. Delegates develop the skills and tools required for the desired changes to be achieved.
4. Follow up coaching is provided to sustain the integration of skills and tools.
